Aspen Court Nursing & Dementia Nursing Home is a modern, purpose-built home in the peaceful northern outskirts of Taunton, providing high-quality Dementia and Nursing care for up to 42 residents. We are proud to deliver person-centred care in a friendly, professional environment where residents feel safe, valued and supported.

We are now looking for kind and reliable Care Assistants to join our dedicated team. Whether you are an experienced carer or new to the care sector, we will support you with full training, guidance and opportunities for career development.

What We Offer

•  £12.21 per hour
•  Full-time and part-time contracts available 
•  11.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid break
•  Weekend work required on a rotational basis
•  Additional £2.00 per hour for overtime
•  Pension scheme, Paid DBS, Uniform provided
•  5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

Your Role
As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our residents with daily routines such as personal care, mobility, mealtimes and meaningful activities. You will promote independence, dignity and wellbeing, while building warm and trusting relationships with residents and their families. Every day, you will help create a caring and joyful atmosphere where our residents truly feel at home.

What We Are Looking For

•  Previous experience in care is beneficial but not essential
•  A kind, patient and caring approach
•  Good communication and teamwork skills
•  Reliability and a genuine passion for supporting others
