Male Cerebral Palsy Support Worker (Live-In) – Peterborough

Location: Peterborough
Hours: 1 week on / 1 week off (Monday–Friday only, finishing 19:30  on Friday)
➡️ With occasional ad-hoc days to cover holiday/sickness where needed
Pay Rate: £251.51 per day

You’ll be supporting a young adult with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and learning disabilities – someone full of personality and enthusiasm who loves making the most of life. ( there is a cat in the property).

Expect fun, variety, and plenty of shared experiences, including:
Watching YouTube & playing games
Thrill-seeking at theme parks (rollercoasters included!)
Days out and car journeys
Shopping trips (cheese is always on the list!)

This is much more than care – it’s about building connections, creating memories, and supporting independence.

Your Role

• Supporting with daily routines and personal care

• Encouraging social interaction and community activities

• Taking part in trips, outings, and hobbies

• Promoting confidence, independence, and wellbeing

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting individuals with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, PEG feeding, and learning disabilities (e.g. global developmental delay)

• A Full UK Driving Licence – essential for outings and adventures

• A positive, caring, and proactive attitude
