Alderbrook Care Home in Leeds is a brand-new service that will become home to 160 residents with complex physical and mental health needs.
We are now looking for kind, compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our growing team. This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to make a genuine difference every single day.

The Role

As a Care Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of our care team. From helping with daily routines to providing companionship, your role is about promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing for every resident. You’ll:

• Support residents with personal care and day-to-day activities, always encouraging independence where possible.
• Follow individual care plans and provide thoughtful, person-centred support.
• Spot changes in residents’ health and communicate promptly with our nursing team.
• Create a warm, homely environment where residents feel safe, respected and valued.
• Help at mealtimes, ensuring residents receive the nutrition and hydration they need.
• Most importantly bring kindness, patience and a smile to each interaction.

About You

We’re looking for people with a genuine passion for caring for others. Ideally, you’ll have some experience in a care role and an NVQ/SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, but if you don’t and you bring the right attitude and values we’ll support you with training. What matters most is that you’re compassionate, reliable, and a real team player.
