Support Worker Taunton - £12.68 per hour

Typical Shifts are: 08:00 - 20:30 however these may be split to suit the needs of the service

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on *female* Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our large residential service close to the centre of Taunton is full of character and is described as a very active service .With large gardens and its own training kitchen and art room, it has a welcoming and friendly environment, you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities like bowling, trips to the beach, sailing, gardening , cinema , shopping and trips to the zoo , it really is home from home !!!! .

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should ideally hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, as well as experience working with individuals with autism, physical disabilities and challenging behaviours.
