Cerebral Palsy Support Worker – Skewen

£17 per hour (£18 on Sundays)

2x day shifts per week (07:30 – 21:00)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team and work alongside one of our wonderful clients in Skewen. Our client is a fun, energetic character who loves spending time outdoors – and they’re looking for someone to join them on their adventures, including attending hydrotherapy sessions.

About the Role:

This is a highly rewarding role for someone who is caring, patient, and motivated to make a real difference. You’ll be providing tailored support to help our client live as independently and comfortably as possible.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs

  • A full UK driving licence

  • Confidence in using hoists and supporting physical mobility

  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, engaging approach

  • Compassion, empathy, and a good sense of humour

  • Ability to build a strong, trusting relationship with the client

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting daily routines, including personal care and hygiene

  • Attending hydrotherapy sessions and enjoying outdoor activities together

  • Administering medication and monitoring health

  • Providing emotional support and companionship

  • Accurately recording care and reporting any changes

  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members
