We are seeking a Domestic Assistant to join our friendly team at Crosslaw House – a warm and welcoming care home located in Lanark, South Lanarkshire. With 45 residents, we provide high-quality Nursing and Dementia care in a supportive and homely environment.

In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. Your attention to detail and commitment to hygiene will help us create a place that truly feels like home.

What We Offer

• £12.21 per hour
• Contracted to 28 hours per week

• Paid PVG, Uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will Do
ou will carry out high standards of cleaning throughout the home, supporting infection prevention and contributing to the overall comfort and wellbeing of our residents. This includes maintaining bedrooms, communal areas, sanitary fittings, and handling laundry with care and respect. You will work closely with your colleagues across departments to ensure our home remains clean, fresh, and welcoming every day.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in domestic or cleaning roles is helpful but not essential
• A positive attitude and pride in your work
• Awareness of health and safety and infection control practices
• A warm, friendly approach and a desire to contribute to a happy environment
