Care Assistant

  • 20 miles within Bury St Edmunds / Newmarket
  • From £12 per hour - Mon-Fri. £12.90 weekends. Bank Holidays £24.
  • Travel time is £11.44 / 45p mileage.  
 

We’re looking for caring, compassionate and people-centred individuals to provide care in  Bury St Edmonds and surrounding areas. While some care experience is desirable, training is provided. Full time, part time and weekend work available and your travel time is paid plus mileage (45p per mile)

Who are we looking for?

  • You MUST have a valid driver's license and access to your own car (with business motor insurance)

What will the role involve?

Our visiting carers can do up to 10-15 visits a day, supporting individuals in their own homes and promoting independence:

  • Personal Care Support
  • Planning and preparation of nutritious and healthy meals
  • Medication administration
  • Shopping trips and appointment visits
  • Companionship calls, social visits and days out
