Located in the heart of the new Greenlaw Mains community in Penicuik, Glencorse Care Home is a purpose-built, luxury care home opening soon. Designed with comfort, dignity, and wellbeing in mind, it will provide exceptional Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care for up to 54 residents in beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Activities Coordinator to join our founding team. You will play a key role in helping residents stay active, connected, and fulfilled, bringing fun, laughter, and a sense of purpose to every day.

What We Offer

• 37.5 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided, free onsite parking
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will Do
You will plan and deliver a varied activity programme that promotes residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. From group sessions to one-to-one moments, you will ensure every resident feels included, valued, and engaged.

You will get to know each resident personally, tailoring activities to their interests and abilities, while maintaining accurate records of participation. Whether organising a music afternoon, art project, or local outing, you will help create moments that truly matter.
