This luxurious, private care facility is situated in the affluent suburb of Glasgow. The care home offers elegant accommodation for up to 80-residents along with outstanding Residential, Dementia, Nursing & Respite care.

We’re looking for a meticulous Laundry Assistant to deliver top-notch laundry services for our residents and ensure their personal clothing and linen are well cared for. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High-Quality Laundry Service: Manage all linen and residents’ personal clothing with care, ensuring top-quality service.
  • Maintain Standards: Clean the laundry area to high standards, following specific guidelines and schedules.
  • Confidentiality: Respect and always maintain the confidentiality of residents’ personal information.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all statutory and legal requirements, including Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
  • Labelling and Repair: Ensure all residents’ personal clothing and items are individually labelled, kept in good repair, and returned to the correct resident.
  • Equipment Safety: Ensure all laundry equipment is in full, safe working order.
  • Proactive Approach: Be alert, use your initiative to spot and clean any spillages as they occur.
  • Team Contribution: Actively participate as a team member, contribute to staff meetings, attend training sessions, and help foster a friendly and supportive work environment.
