A specialist hospital is now looking for a HCPC-registered Psychologist to join the team in a permanent, part-time role.
This hospital is a dynamic inpatient service supporting adults with a diagnosed learning disability and/or ASC and who are also presenting with complex mental health symptoms or antisocial behaviours, typically on a long-term basis and across recovery, low secure and bespoke individual settings.
Part of a national network of leading mental health and social care services, the hospital maintains a fully “Good” CQC rating and provides patients with a truly excellent quality of life as they follow their own holistic, person-centred treatment pathway.
In respect of the diverse needs and histories our patients present with, this position would suit the following practitioners: Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Forensic Psychologist.
You will be offered bespoke training for any interventions you may be less familiar with, such as DBT and FIP-MO/FIPP, and have the support of a strongly collaborative integrated MDT (including SLTs, OTs, and Arts/Music Therapists). Together, you’ll focus on enabling patients to make lasting improvements in their mental health, achieve greater independence, and work towards a smooth transition back home or into a supported living environment.
This is a permanent, part-time position for a Registered Psychologist, ideally 3 days per week.

- Opportunities to participate in peer support/supervision discussions, service development consultations, research and audit initiatives, and other professional events
- Annual appraisals and revalidation support
- Free on-site parking
- Employee Assistant Programme
- Access to retail, leisure and lifestyle discount schemes and salary sacrifice schemes
