Sonderwell is looking for dedicated and experienced Live-In Carers to provide person-centred care to clients with complex needs, all within the comfort of their own homes. If you're passionate about making a difference and have experience with complex care, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide person-centred care to clients with complex health needs.
• Assist with personal care, manual handling, and catheter care.
• Support with mobility.
• Foster meaningful relationships with clients based on trust, respect, and understanding.
• Engage clients in activities tailored to their interests (e.g., a client’s love for maths).

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Stroke recovery experience and the ability to support clients with manual handling, catheter care, and challenging behaviours.
• Skills: Ability to work independently and use initiative, especially under pressure and in challenging situations.
• Passion: A caring attitude and strong commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals.

Support for You:

At Sonderwell, we care about your growth and well-being. You’ll be provided with ongoing training, both online and in-classroom, specifically tailored to the needs of your clients. You will also be supported by a Care Coordinator or Nurse Manager throughout your role, and have the chance to meet your client and their family before you start your shift.
