Package Description:

At Avery, we believe that care is more than a job – it’s a calling. Our teams work incredibly hard to enrich the lives of our residents, and we’re here to celebrate and support you every step of the way.

When you join us, you’ll be part of a community that’s passionate about making a positive impact. Your compassion, energy, and dedication will help shape meaningful experiences for our residents – and we’ll be right beside you, helping you grow in a supportive, values-led environment.

We’re proud of our award-winning team, and now we’re looking for someone equally passionate to join us as a Learning and Development Facilitator on a part time basis, working 3 days per week across our homes in Northampton. If you’re warm, enthusiastic, and ready to inspire others, we’d love to hear from you.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Learning and Development Facilitator, you’ll play a key role in empowering our teams to deliver outstanding care. You’ll lead engaging training sessions across a cluster of homes, helping ensure our people are confident, competent, and compliant.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality training on statutory and mandatory topics
  • Identifying learning needs using our Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Designing and facilitating interactive induction and refresher courses
  • Supporting both face-to-face and virtual learning experiences
  • Assessing learner understanding and confidence throughout sessions

ABOUT YOU

You’re someone who lives our values – caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable – and brings a genuine passion for adult social care and learning.

We’re looking for:

  • Experience in learning and development within the adult social care sector
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (Level 3 or above)
  • Knowledge of statutory and mandatory training requirements
  • A commitment to inclusive learning, including neurodiversity
  • A Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards it)
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport

WHY AVERY?

We’re not just one of the UK’s largest providers of luxury elderly care – we’re a place where people love to work. With over 100 homes and a shared vision of “creating meaningful lives together,” we’re building a culture where every team member feels valued, supported, and inspired.

Join us and discover why Avery is the preferred choice for both residents and colleagues.

Please note:
This role requires a DBS Disclosure (paid for by Avery), proof of eligibility to work in the UK, and a full UK driving licence with access to a car.
