Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist and Sensory Integration Practitioner who has detailed knowledge of working within learning disability and autism services? If so, join Elysium Healthcare as a Regional Lead Occupational Therapist and Sensory Integration Practitioner.
You will be responsible for the line management, professional leadership and development of the Occupational Therapy Service across the Midlands and Yorkshire LD&A region. With experience from the NHS and/or private sector, you will manage a defined caseload undertaking OT and SI assessments, interventions and evaluations across the region which includes a hospital, and a range of community based complex care and residential services.
As the Regional Lead Occupational Therapist and Sensory Integration Practitioner this is your opportunity to demonstrate your leadership and expert clinical knowledge through evidence-based practice and embed it into practice across the region.

As a Regional Lead Occupational Therapist and Sensory Integration Practitioner, you will be:
- Providing professional management and leadership for the Occupational therapy and sensory integration service across Yorkshire and the Midlands
- Providing expert advice and expertise regarding the Occupational therapy and sensory integration profession to the regional team regarding service development and workforce planning.
- Establishing, monitoring and evaluating an effective supervision framework for the Occupational Therapy team and apply processes to manage performance.
- Supporting recruitment of Occupational Therapy staff across the region
- Identifying training needs for Occupational therapy staff and participate in the development and delivery of Occupational Therapy CPD opportunities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To be qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist
- At least 6 years post qualifying experience.
- Registered with the HCPC and meet the necessary continuing professional development requirements in order to remain on the register.
- Hold the relevant sensory practitioner qualifications
- A full and clean UK driving licence
