Libertatem Healthcare Group

£16.00 - £18.00 Per Hour

Come join Our Team!

We have an excellent opportunity for a female support worker to work alongside our client in Bury St. Edmonds, Suffolk.

Our client is a gentleman in his 50's who lives in his own accommodation with 24 hour care, he enjoys photography and film, likes motorbikes, sailing and has recently started to cook his own meals with the support of his care team. Due to an acquired brain injury he has speech and language issues and requires support with mobility (though he is mobile), medication, accessing the community and attending appointments, alongside day to day needs around environment and cooking. He has been known to suffer with seizures but has not had one since 2022, he also has an extensive daily physio program which is supported by a physiotherapist at his residence.

Due to the clients support needs the successful candidate will need to be female, a non-smoker, have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, be a clear communicator in English, be comfortable working alongside a very engaged family, be physically capable and a confident cook. They will also need to possess the softer skills of being a clear communicator with the motivation and ability to engage the client to build a solid, supporting relationship.

Pay: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour

Hours: 24 hours per week over two days (08:00 - 20:00 with sleep-ins)
