Are you an organised and detail‑driven administrator looking for a rewarding role where your work really matters? At Wilderness Way, we provide safe, supportive homes for children — and we’re looking for a proactive Compliance & Facilities Administrator to help us maintain the highest standards across our services.
This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, working Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, based at our Head Office just outside Penrith. The role offers a salary of £30,000, along with staff benefits, a workplace pension, and lots of opportunities for training and development.
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate statutory and non‑statutory compliance schedules across our homes and facilities.
Maintain accurate records, certification, and databases to ensure full regulatory compliance.
Work closely with contractors to arrange inspections, servicing, and remedial works.
Support the Estates & Facilities team with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks.
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to keep our environments safe, welcoming, and well‑maintained.
Assist with wider team duties such as inbox management and general office support.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong administrative experience, ideally in compliance, facilities, estates, or health & safety.
Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
Confident communicator who can build positive relationships with internal teams and external contractors.
Proactive problem‑solver with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
IT‑savvy, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
A positive, enthusiastic work ethic and a commitment to maintaining safe, high‑quality environments.
