Our purpose-built care home in Walsall provides high-quality specialist care for 59 residents.
We are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant who will make a tangible difference in the lives of our residents by creating a clean and welcoming environment that supports their wellbeing. Your attention to detail and commitment to high hygiene standards will be crucial in maintaining a pleasant living space. You’ll be part of a supportive team where your role is valued, and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere within the care home.

What You Will Do
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will maintain cleanliness throughout the home, ensuring all areas are hygienic, safe, and welcoming. You will clean and maintain floors, furniture, furnishings, fixtures, and fittings to a high standard, and regularly manage sanitary facilities and waste disposal.
You will also support laundry services, ensuring items are handled, cleaned, and labelled correctly, while assisting residents with their daily needs to help them settle comfortably into their environment. Working closely with other staff, you will ensure overall cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained, contributing to a safe and pleasant home for residents.
