Ashgrove Care Home is a purpose-built service providing exemplary Residential and Nursing care for up to 65 residents. With a warm and welcoming environment, our home is known for its compassionate approach and high standards of care.
We are now looking for a dedicated and experienced Nightshift Nursing Sister to join our team. If you are a Registered Nurse with strong clinical skills, a calm and reassuring presence, and a passion for delivering exceptional care during night hours, we would love to hear from you.

What You Will Do
As the Nightshift Nursing Sister, you will take clinical responsibility for the home throughout the night. You will lead and support the care team on shift, ensuring residents receive safe, personalised care at all times. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, monitoring residents’ health, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will also support handovers, promote dignity, comfort, and reassurance for residents, and ensure a calm and well-managed environment throughout the night.
What We Are Looking For
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
- A commitment to delivering person-centred care
- Strong leadership and teamworking skills
- Excellent communication with a warm, empathetic approach
- Previous care home experience is welcomed but not essential
