The role:
As Night Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing and comfort of residents throughout the night while leading a committed team of care assistants. This is an opportunity to step into a position where your leadership, professionalism and compassion will have a direct, positive impact on our residents’ lives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the night team to deliver exceptional standards of care.
- Reviewing and understanding care plans to ensure personalised, thoughtful support.
- Administering medication safely and in line with guidelines.
- Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and responding promptly to any concerns.
- Ensuring accurate, thorough communication and smooth handovers between teams.
- Maintaining a calm, reassuring presence during the night.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience supporting older adults, ideally including those living with dementia.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Level 3 in Health & Social Care. (this qualification is essential)
