Hampton Care Home is a spacious, purpose-built home in Hampton, providing outstanding nursing, dementia, palliative, and short-term care for up to 76 residents. With generous ensuite bedrooms, secure landscaped gardens, and dedicated staff teams, our home offers a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where residents feel truly at home.

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-focused Head Housekeeper to lead our domestic and laundry teams with pride and purpose. Previous experience in care or hospitality is ideal, but transferable skills and a can-do attitude are highly valued.

Salary: £13.92 per hour
Location: Hampton Care Home, Upper Sunbury Road, Middlesex, TW12 2DW
Hours: 40 hours per week

Your role:
As Head Housekeeper, you’ll ensure our home is spotless, safe, and welcoming every day. From fresh bedlinen to gleaming floors, your leadership keeps the home running smoothly and residents comfortable. You’ll supervise and support a dedicated team, manage rotas and supplies, monitor hygiene standards, and champion infection control.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading, supporting, and developing the housekeeping and laundry teams.
• Monitoring cleanliness across the home to maintain high hygiene and infection control standards.
• Ensuring laundry and resident clothing are well cared for.
• Managing rotas, stock levels, and reporting maintenance needs.
• Training, appraising, and mentoring your team to help them grow.
• Creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents.

What we’re looking for:

• Supervisory experience in housekeeping, ideally in care or hospitality.
• Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail.
• Knowledge of infection control and health & safety standards.
• Calm, positive, and practical approach to leadership.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
