Deeside Care Home is a luxurious, 68-bed care facility providing exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care. We take pride in creating a vibrant, supportive environment where residents can live meaningful, fulfilling lives.

We are now looking for a creative and compassionate Wellbeing Lead to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will connect with residents, discover their stories and interests, and plan activities that bring joy, purpose and enrichment to their daily lives.

What We Offer

  •  £13.00 per hour
  •  37.5 hours per week
  •  Paid PVG, Pension scheme,  Uniform provided
  •  5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will Do
As Wellbeing Lead, you will design and deliver a varied and engaging programme of group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents’ needs and preferences. You will build meaningful relationships with residents, lead and inspire the Activities Team, and create opportunities for connection, creativity and enjoyment. Working closely with colleagues and community partners, you will ensure the wellbeing programme enhances every aspect of life at Deeside Care Home. You will also oversee the activity budget and ensure resources are used effectively to support a stimulating, person-centred environment.

What We’re Looking For

  •  Experience in planning and delivering activities or wellbeing programmes in a care, community or hospitality setting
  •  Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a small team
  •  Excellent communication, organisation and creativity
  •  A kind, empathetic nature and passion for enriching the lives of others
  •  Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as part of a seven-day rota
