ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Regional Decorator will be to undertake decoration and improvement works to operational care homes within the Avery Healthcare Group.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Procurement of plant and materials necessary to undertake decoration and improvement works
- Liaison with Avery Estates, Care Home and Regional Directors to plan decoration and improvement works of the company’s elderly care communities
- Preparation of Risk Assessment and Method Statements in relation to decoration and improvement works
- Regular inspection of care homes and preparation of Home Visit Reports and Scope of Work reports detailing works undertaken

Our ideal candidate must:
- Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of a wide range of traditional building trades
- Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, and COSHH assessments
- Demonstrate basic practical ability across traditional maintenance tasks
- Work on their own initiative with a high level of autonomy, ensuring the best possible environment for the residents who form the community of the Avery Healthcare Group
