IT Applications Support Analyst - Finance Systems

The role
Barchester Healthcare is one of the UK's leading care providers, with a strong reputation for delivering quality services across our homes and hospitals. We are now looking for an IT Applications Support Analyst to join our Finance Systems team. In this role, you'll provide essential desk-based support and system administration for our applications, with a focus on Civica billing and Medius Procurement systems. As we continue to grow and adopt new digital solutions, you'll play a key role in supporting additional applications across the business.

What you'll be doing
Provide responsive, desk-based support and advice to users across the business
Log and manage calls, emails, and tickets through our IT case management system
Resolve common functional and technical issues, escalating when necessary
Liaise with Finance, Procurement, and IT teams to ensure smooth system performance
Support users of all abilities, helping them become more confident and self-sufficient
Maintain accurate records in our IT Service Management system
Escalate bugs, issues, and enhancements through the correct channels
Be a friendly, approachable point of contact for non-technical users

What we're looking for
Experience: Strong background in application support and user engagement
Desirable: Knowledge of Civica, Medius, or similar billing/procurement systems
Education: Good standard of education including Maths and English

Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
