Our newly built care home is based in the charming suburb of Pinhoe, Exeter. We provide exceptional Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for 67 residents.

What We Offer
- £22.36 per hour
- Contracted to 24 hours per week, day shifts

Your Role
As a Day Shift Nurse at Alexander House, you will lead the nursing team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care throughout the day. You will be responsible for carrying out clinical assessments, administering medications, and monitoring residents’ health. You will support residents in their daily activities and coordinate care plans in collaboration with families and healthcare professionals.
Your role includes mentoring junior staff, maintaining clear and accurate records, and ensuring a safe and caring environment. You will also lead effective communication across shifts to promote seamless continuity of care.
What We’re Looking For
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC PIN
- Passion for delivering compassionate, person-centred nursing care
- Strong leadership and excellent communication skills
- Calm, decisive, and professional approach in all situations
- Experience in care home or community nursing preferred but not essential
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and teamwork
