Female Complex Care Assistant – Redruth, Cornwall
Location: Redruth, Cornwall
Pay: £14.17 per hour
You must have a Full UK Driving Licence (essential due to location)

Shift Pattern:

• Waking nights: 3 shifts per week (10:30 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Evening shift: Once a week (5:00 PM – 9:00 PM)

Libertatem Healthcare Group is seeking a Female Complex Care Assistant to provide dedicated overnight 1:1 support to a young client in Redruth. This is a rewarding opportunity to become part of a stable care team within a supportive family home. The client has complex needs, including epilepsy, a brain injury, and jejunal (J-tube) feeding.

They enjoys sensory lights, music, and interactive play. There’s also a small, friendly family dog, so confidence around animals is important.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing overnight personal care and repositioning

• Administering medication (including rescue medications)

• Managing non-invasive ventilation and nebulisation

• Enteral feeding via jejunal (J) tube

• Oral suctioning as required

• Monitoring and responding to seizures

• Supporting a calm, sensory-rich environment

✅ You Must Have Experience In:

• Non-invasive ventilation

• Medication administration

• Epilepsy management

• Enteral feeding via jejunostomy (J-tube)

• Oral suctioning

• Nebulisation

• Manual handling (with appropriate equipment)

• Providing care for individuals with complex or neurological needs

• Full UK Driving Licence (essential due to rural location)
