Darcy House is our brand-new, purpose-built luxury care home in the beautiful town of Matlock, Derbyshire. Offering personalised Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Palliative and Respite care for up to 78 residents, our home is a vibrant and nurturing environment where wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.

We are looking for a sociable, creative, and well-organised Activities Coordinator to bring joy, fun and variety to the lives of our residents. If you are passionate about making a difference and creating meaningful moments, we would love to hear from you.

What We Offer:

• £12.21 per hour
• 32.5 hours per week (10:00am to 5:00pm, alternate weekends)
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform and onsite parking
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will Do:
You will take the lead in creating and delivering a lively programme of group and one-to-one activities, encouraging residents to remain active, engaged and connected. Your days will involve:

• Planning and running a monthly activities schedule tailored to residents’ needs and preferences
• Organising inclusive events that support social interaction and wellbeing
• Encouraging residents to maintain hobbies and explore new interests
• Building strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider care team
• Keeping clear and accurate records of activities and resident participation

What We’re Looking For:
