Your Role
As a Country Cousins live-in carer, you’ll:

• Provide compassionate support and companionship tailored to each client’s needs.
• Assist with daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
• Support clients with medical or mobility needs, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia care.
• Work alongside families and healthcare professionals, including district nurses and specialist agencies like Marie Curie and Macmillan.

What We Look For
We’re seeking carers who share our passion for making a difference. You should be:

• Compassionate, professional, and able to adapt to different client lifestyles.
• Dedicated to maintaining clients’ independence and respecting their personal space.
• Confident working independently and taking the lead when needed.

What You’ll Need

• At least 6 months’ professional care experience.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
• Self-employment status and two professional references.
• Completion of DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
• Evidence of relevant training, such as:
  • Manual Handling
  • Basic First Aid
  • Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
