Brain Injury Rehabilitation Assistant

Location: Barking
Hours: Monday/Wednesday 10am-4pm

                Tuesday/Thursday 9am-3pm

                Friday – 5pm-9pm

Pay: £16.90 per hour weekdays.

We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Assistant to join our new client, who is a 31-year-old male with a brain injury from childhood. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to our client, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being, whilst working with the MDT and psychologist.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• • Deliver personalized care and support to our client.
  • Assist with daily living activities.
  • Monitor health conditions.
  • Accompany client in the community.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

• • Experience in a similar role, preferably with brain injury experience.
  • MDT experience is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic, upbeat, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours.
