 Join Sonderwell as a Female Complex Care Assistant – York 

• Hourly Pay: £16.00

• Location: York

• Shift Hours: 20 hours per week

Shift Breakdown:

• Monday: 10 hours (choose between 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM)

• Friday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (5 hours)

• Flexible Hours: 5 hours to be scheduled across the week (evenings/weekends)

You’ll provide vital support to individuals with complex medical needs – helping them live with dignity, independence, and choice. Whether it’s assisting with daily routines or more advanced clinical care, your role will be both rewarding and impactful.

 What You’ll Do

• Deliver one-on-one complex care tailored to your client’s individual needs

• Assist with both physical and personal care

• Carry out clinical tasks including:

  • Tracheostomy care

  • Ventilation care

  • Oral suctioning

  • Tracheal suctioning

If you bring experience and compassion, we’ll provide everything else – full training, ongoing support, and room to grow.

• Comprehensive classroom and online training

• The chance to work towards a relevant NVQ qualification

• Ongoing support from your Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager

• A warm introduction to your client and their family before starting
