- Applicant must have managerial / senior experience in a nursing home.
Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse (Adult) qualification with a valid UK NMC Pin.
- Proven experience in a nursing role within a nursing home or elderly care setting, with a focus on older adults.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with strong communication and interpersonal skills tailored to older adults.
- Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in elderly care for older adults in a nursing home setting.
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively in a fast-paced environment while catering to the needs of older adults.

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring efficient and effective coordination of care for elderly residents in the nursing home.
- Conduct regular assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, residents, and families, taking into account the specific needs of older adults.
- Oversee medication management, ensuring adherence to protocols and that residents receive prescribed medications on time and in the appropriate manner, considering the unique requirements of older adults.
- Implement and monitor infection control measures to uphold the safety and well-being of older residents and staff in the nursing home.
- Act as a clinical resource, providing support, mentorship, and training to staff, driving continuous improvement in clinical practices for older adults in a nursing home setting.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment, promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the nursing home care setting for older adults.
