Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or 3)
Salary: £25,000-£27,000
40 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a vibrant and purpose-built nursery and preschool. Catering for children aged three months to five years, this setting is designed to foster curiosity and creativity through engaging activities and play in a warm, supportive environment.

The nursery features thoughtfully designed indoor spaces, allowing children to explore a variety of fun and stimulating activities. The outdoor garden wraps around the building, providing a safe and nurturing space for outdoor adventures.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding childcare and education. You'll help create a welcoming environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn through play.

What We're Looking For
  • Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and safeguarding practices.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
  • Passion: A genuine love for working with children and supporting their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver a range of fun, stimulating, and age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children to grow and thrive.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate developmental records and sharing updates with parents.
  • Encourage outdoor exploration and play in the nursery's spacious wraparound garden.
  • Follow all nursery policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and hygiene standards.
