Staff Nurse - RGN/RMN

Day Shifts, 24-48 hours per week

£21.50 per hour + a £2,000 welcome bonus

Are you an experienced and skilled Staff Nurse looking to provide high quality care in a supportive and modern care setting? This purpose-built nursing home is dedicated to providing warm, personal, and high-quality care to residents, including those needing palliative, dementia, and complex nursing care. What we're looking for?
  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN): Qualified as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
  • Excellent Clinical Skills: Competency in delivering high-quality clinical care for complex cases, with a patient-centred approach.
  • Empathy and Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate compassionately and professionally with residents and their families.

What you day will look like
  • Resident Assessments and Care Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments for each resident and develop individualised care plans tailored to their unique needs.
  • Medication and Treatment Administration: Administer medication and treatments as outlined in residents' care plans, ensuring accuracy and safety at all times.
  • Resident Safety and Well-being: Prioritise the safety and overall well-being of residents, monitoring for any changes in their condition and responding promptly.
  • Collaborative, Holistic Care: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care that addresses residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain detailed, up-to-date records and documentation for each resident, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Family Support and Guidance: Provide support and guidance to residents and their families, offering clear communication and compassionate care.
  • Compliance with Healthcare Standards: Adhere to all regulatory standards and protocols, ensuring the service remains compliant with healthcare guidelines.
  • Ongoing Care Plan Evaluation: Regularly evaluate and adjust care plans as residents' needs evolve, ensuring they continue to receive the most appropriate level of care.
