Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Salary: Up to £26,000, depending on experience

Our client is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated team. Set in a bright, homely, and friendly environment, this nursery fosters a love for learning with a child-centred approach. Each learning area is thoughtfully designed to support children's natural curiosity and development, with an emphasis on hands-on learning and individual focus. With an expansive outdoor area and a focused outdoor classroom, the nursery offers ample space for physical play and outdoor learning.

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's development in a stimulating, Montessori-inspired setting. This role provides the opportunity to create meaningful, engaging experiences for children while fostering their independence and curiosity.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification: Required for this role, with a solid understanding of child development and learning stages.
  • Passion for Early Years Education: Enthusiastic about supporting children's growth, with a commitment to providing a nurturing and engaging environment.
  • Montessori Knowledge (Beneficial): Experience with or knowledge of Montessori principles is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to connect effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
  • Adaptability and Creativity: Able to create flexible, engaging learning experiences that cater to children's individual needs and interests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Implement Activities: Design engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's individual development and curiosity, both indoors and in the outdoor classroom.
  • Foster a Positive Environment: Create a warm, homely space where children feel safe, respected, and encouraged to explore and learn.
  • Promote Physical Play: Use the large outdoor space to encourage physical activity and motor skills development through structured and free-play activities.
  • Monitor and Support Development: Observe and assess children's progress, using insights to adapt learning activities and communicate development milestones with parents and the team.
  • Champion Montessori Methods: Utilize hands-on, Montessori-inspired learning materials to stimulate children's natural love for discovery.
