Qualifications & Experience:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years
- In-depth understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its application
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team
- A genuine passion for nurturing and supporting the development of young children
- Understanding of safeguarding policies and a commitment to keeping children safe
- Previous experience in a nursery setting is preferred but not essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of children
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the well-being of all children
- Build strong, supportive relationships with children, ensuring their individual needs are met
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and share regular updates with parents and carers
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child is encouraged to thrive
- Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed, prioritizing the safety of children at all times
- Support the development of a stimulating learning environment with creative resources and activities
- Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
