Occupational Therapist - Band 5

Salary: Up to £36,000 pro-rata

28 hours per week (Days)

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our client's team, where you'll play a key role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery and independence. Working with clients affected by acquired brain injuries or strokes.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified & Certified: A Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy with valid registration with the HCPC.
• Specialised Knowledge: Proven expertise in occupational therapy assessments and interventions, particularly for brain injury and stroke rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Thorough Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments using both standardised and non-standardised tools, ensuring each client's needs are understood and supported.
• Personalized Interventions: Develop tailored intervention plans focused on empowering clients to regain independence and improve their quality of life.
• Hands-On Rehabilitation: Deliver targeted therapy to individuals affected by brain injuries, guiding them on their journey to independence.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to provide holistic, coordinated care that addresses every aspect of recovery.
• Detailed Documentation: Maintain accurate and insightful records to track client progress and inform ongoing treatment plans.
