Location: Peel House Melksham (Please be aware if you live outside Melksham you will require transport as public transport is not available to get you to shifts on time)
Pay rate starting from: £11.57ph
Typical Shifts are a mixture of: 7am- 14:00 and 14:00 - 21:00 on a rota basis Monday - Sunday

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!
Our residential service Peel House in Melksham is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them watching films or going to the cinema.
Activities in house are:
- Trips out - E.g. Safari parks, Beach and anything the people show an interest to partake in.
- attending community local groups, coffee mornings and discos
- Holidays
- Horse riding
- Sensory activities

- Daily drives
This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license as it is preferred that to drive the company vehicles to help the people we support get out and about, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals with You will supporting people with Learning disabilities, complex health needs, peg fed, insulin, epilepsy and Cpap.
