Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)

Salary: Up to £28,000

40 hours per week

Our client, an established nursery is looking for an experiencedLevel 3 Nursery Practitioner to join its team, providing children with opportunities for natural play, gardening, and sports activities.

The ideal candidate will bring experience from a similar role within a nursery or other childcare or educational setting, with a solid understanding of best practices for early years learning and development.

Requirements
  • Qualifications: A minimum of Level 3 in Early Years
  • Experience: Previous experience in a nursery, childcare, or educational role.
  • Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Safer Recruitment Compliance: Shortlisted candidates will be required to declare all unspent convictions prior to an interview, and an Enhanced DBS check will be processed upon joining.

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in fostering a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for children. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Child Development: Planning, observing, and assessing activities to support the learning and development of each child, ensuring their needs and abilities are met.
  • Outdoor Activities: Utilizing the garden and terrace spaces to encourage natural play, gardening, and sports, fostering a connection with nature.
  • Curriculum Delivery: Implementing a creative and inclusive curriculum that promotes physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Health & Safety: Ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with other team members to support each child's individual needs and create a warm, supportive environment.
  • Parent Engagement: Building strong relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed on their child's progress and addressing any questions or concerns.
