Lead Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)

Salary: £26,500
40 hours per week


Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 qualified practitioner looking to take the next step in their career by leading a vibrant toddler room and making a real difference in children's lives.

Key Requirements:
  • A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years in line with government guidelines.
  • Proven experience working in a nursery or early years setting, ideally in a senior or leadership capacity.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills with a proactive approach to improving childcare standards.
  • A passion for fostering children's development and well-being, ensuring that every child has the best start in life.

About the Role:
As a Lead Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily running of the nursery. You will be responsible for:
  • Leading and supporting a team of practitioners to deliver outstanding care and early years education to children
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment that encourages children's growth and development.
  • Planning and implementing engaging activities that support children's learning across all areas of development.
  • Building strong partnerships with parents, ensuring excellent communication and involvement in their child's progress.
  • Upholding the nursery's policies, including safeguarding, health, and safety standards.
