Care Assistant - Days or Nights

A luxury care home near Oban is now looking for a kind and compassionate Care Assistant to join their team.

This home is set in a very restful area, surrounded by the beautiful countryside characteristic of the Firth of Lorn and not far at all from the coastline – the perfect place for outstanding residential, dementia and respite care.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with residents able to enjoy superior en-suite bedrooms, top-tier catering and varied entertainment (whether that’s getting pampered at the on-site salon, getting some fresh air in the gardens, or participating in some scheduled activities).

As a Care Assistant, you’ll join a close-knit team in assisting residents with their care needs and in providing direct support and companionship, helping to make every day cheerful and comfortable.

This is a permanent, full-time position, days or nights available.

Person specification:

• (Essential) A compassionate approach and an interest in helping people
• (Essential) Willingness to help with personal care tasks
• (Desirable) Previous experience as a Care Assistant in an elderly care setting
• (Desirable) SVQ Level 2 (SCQF Level 6) in Social Services and Healthcare (or equivalent)
