Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef, preferably in a care home, healthcare, or similar setting
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and nutritional standards, especially for elderly care
- Ability to cater to varied dietary requirements, including allergies, modified textures, and medical conditions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- NVQ or equivalent in Catering/Food Preparation (preferred)

Key Responsibilities
- Meal Planning and Preparation: Design and prepare nutritious meals, ensuring they meet residents' dietary requirements and preferences.
- Hygiene and Safety: Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene in compliance with regulations.
- Stock Management: Monitor and manage food inventory, ensuring supplies are stocked and waste is minimized.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with staff and residents to create appealing, seasonal menus that offer variety and quality.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Resident Interaction: Engage with residents to understand their meal preferences and enhance their dining experience.
