Qualifications
- Level 3 in Early Years or above, demonstrating a strong theoretical and practical understanding of early childhood development and education.
- Previous experience working as a nursery practitioner, with a proven ability to lead and inspire a team to provide high-quality care and learning experiences for young children.
- Up-to-date knowledge of early years curriculum and best practices in early childhood education, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with children, parents, and colleagues, and build effective partnerships with families and external professionals.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of nursery practitioners, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive environment for children by providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences to support the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of each child, adhering to the early years curriculum and best practices.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and external agencies and professionals to support the well-being and holistic development of each child.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and report to senior staff and parents when necessary to ensure effective communication and support for each child's development.
- Contribute to the overall operation of the nursery, including adherence to health and safety regulations, administrative duties, and collaboration with the management team to support the continuous improvement of the nursery.
