Level 3 Nursery Room Leader

Hourly Rate: Up to £15, depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: 40 hours per week

We are on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) to join our client's Early Years team. The nursery is situated in a newly renovated, family-friendly setting with easy access to Streatham and Streatham Common stations. This beautiful location is designed with expansive indoor play spaces and a large garden, giving children access to vibrant, engaging areas that enhance their learning journey.

Qualifications:
  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above
  • Demonstrate proven leadership experience in a nursery environment
  • Possess a solid grasp of the EYFS framework and child development principles
  • Exhibit exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational aptitude
  • Radiate a sincere passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development

Responsibilities:
  • Take the helm in guiding and supervising a team of nursery practitioners, offering mentorship, support, and training where needed
  • Craft and execute engaging activities tailored to different age groups, aligned with the EYFS framework, to nurture children's learning and growth
  • Foster strong connections with children and their families, promoting transparent communication and active collaboration
  • Ensure a secure and hygienic environment, conducting risk assessments and adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Manage administrative duties, including maintaining children's records, generating reports, and participating in staff meetings and training sessions
  • Strive for continuous enhancement by engaging in regular assessments, self-evaluation, and effecting necessary modifications
